SQLified is a tool for working with SQL, developed by Octet Software ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains what information SQLified handles.

The short version: SQLified is designed to keep your queries and database content under your control. We do not sell your data or use it to train models. Confirm the specifics below match how SQLified actually works before publishing.

1. Information we collect

Content you create — SQL queries, schemas, and results you work with stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync or share them.
Database connections — any connection details you enter are stored locally on your device so SQLified can connect on your behalf. They are not transmitted to us.
Diagnostic data — if enabled, we may collect anonymous, aggregated crash and usage information to improve reliability. This does not include your queries or database contents.

2. How we use information

To provide the app's core functionality.
To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance.

We do not sell your information or use your database content for advertising or model training.

3. Data stored on your device

Your queries, results, settings, and saved connection details are stored locally and are removed when you delete the app. You are responsible for securing the databases you connect to.

4. Purchases

If SQLified is sold or offers in-app purchases through an app store, those transactions are processed by the store (such as Apple or Google) under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment details.

5. Third-party services

Any external database or service you connect to from SQLified is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy.

6. Children's privacy

SQLified is a developer tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
